A Candlelight vigil was held on Friday night outside Newry Town Hall by local Business People to express their revulsion at this weeks Courthouse Bomb as well as other incidents in other parts of the province and to call for an end to the activities of dissident republicans.

Local residents as well as politicians joined in supporting the plea.

It has been quite a few years since a such a vigil was held in the city.
